Public Policy Internship Description

Our foundation is growing, and we are excited to bring on a bright, motivated and self-sufficient undergraduate or graduate student who has a passion for entrepreneurial space as well as public policy. As a young organization, we have the flexibility to tailor our internship program to the strengths of the successful candidate.

For qualified, motivated applicants, this position offers exposure to virtually all facets of an entrepreneurial and forward-looking association. Our members include early-stage and mature companies, individual space investors, engineers and government officials. What binds us together is our shared belief that space should be a policy issue no different than roads and bridges. As a nation, we must not depend on one charismatic leader to have a passion for space exploration. Rather, to attract entrepreneurs for the myriad needs of a coming space revolution, we must have a dependable and reliable system of space infrastructure funding.

Depending on qualifications and experience, this may include opportunities to provide supervised assistance in areas such as:

• Writing and editing space-focused white papers

• Administration and operations support

• Manage existing membership and help engaging and identifying potential new members

• Attendance in some member meetings is anticipated

This position is can be done remotely for the time being, with regular check-ins and weekly meetings. It

is anticipated that you will be focused on our work for approximately 10-hours a week to start.

However, if there is mutual interest, there will be possibilities to grow.

This internship can be partnered with your school internship program. It will initially be unpaid but subject to change.

For more information or to apply, please send a resume and short writing sample to Mr. Morgan P. Muchnick – morgan@theM2group.net
